Highly recommend this location if staying on Pico. A great location with beautiful views and amenities including a pool, infrared sauna, exercise room, yoga room, outdoor trails, sea bathing spot, replica whale tower, and a nice dining facility. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. Visited in the off season and it was perhaps more sedate than it usually would be, but not empty by any means. Close to the seacliffs so you can listen to the crash of the waves at night and feel the seabreezes. Top tier!

First of all, the location of the hotel is exceptional, like mentioned by many, this is one of the most beautiful part of the island, the houses are beautiful from the outside and you have access to natural pools. On the other end, the rooms are some of the worst things I’ve ever slept in. As soon as you enter, you only smell the dampness and humidity in the air. The beds are so hard that you might as well sleep on the floor and you wouldn’t notice the difference. Everything dates from the 70’s and it feels nothing has been changed since then. There’s no AC or any ventilation, so you’ll spend the night sweating in this humidity. The breakfast was very basic. All in all it was great to have seen the place, but there’s no way an hotel with these rooms can be considered a 4 star.

This hotel is the most beautiful hotel in Pico Island. The owners have been very careful in making sure that the design of the hotel was in harmony with the landscape and they are very serious about recycling. The landscape is to die for. The food is delicious! It is truly a remarkable place!

If I could give “0” I would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This place was lovely many years back, but is now falling apart. Pool absolutely filthy and in disrepair. Unbelievably FILTHY. Tiles falling off, algae, broken ladder in pool slashed my foot open. Told front desk. Made many excuses. Said pool had been cleaned a few days ago. Yeah, sure. Asked for partial refund. Declined. They could not care less. Made official complaint, never heard back. No screens on windows = easy entry for COCKROACHES. Yuck-a-doo! Don’t waste your money.

This is a very cool hotel with plenty to explore on the grounds. It overlooks the water and there is a cool trail that leads down to the water. There are also plenty of spots to lounge an relax along with a pool. They even have a whale lookout that you can climb up and search for whales in.

The location of this hotel is beautiful but the hotel itself is old, the beds are rock hard and because of all the humidity and a lot of the hotel is wood it SMELLS. Not very nice and I do not recommend this hotel.
